At the heart of my work is a question:
How can it nurture connection to others, nature,
our true selves?

Andrea Rees is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice includes ceramics, photography and storytelling. Rooted in conceptual, collaborative, and social practice art, as well as linking the personal to the universal, her projects and installations often explore social concerns such as aging, isolation/division, traditional definitions of success, and our natural world.

Originally from Canada, she has previously resided in Montreal, Toronto, and New York. She is currently based in Brussels, Belgium where she also provides support to two non-profit foundations focused on the environment, health, education, and the arts.
