What is home?
It’s my mother’s roses,
My father’s fruit trees,
And that moment at dawn when -
Everyone is still asleep but everything seems alive.

Inspired by Ikebana and Dutch still life, I made the porcelain vase in the photo specifically to be photographed. It was exhibited along with the printed image - allowing the viewer to compare their perspective to my perspective, and releasing some of my artistic control.
